Join Us for the 2025 CAPA Fall Symposium at the University of Maryland! 

        We’re excited to announce that the 2025 CAPA Fall Symposium will take place on August 17, 2025, at the University of Maryland, College Park!  An outstanding lineup of speakers will deliver talks on a wide range of cutting-edge topics, promising a day full of inspiration, discovery, and dynamic exchange.  Following the symposium, a networking reception will begin at 5:00 PM, offering a great opportunity to connect, collaborate, and continue the conversation in a relaxed setting.  If you are interested in attending the symposium and/or reception, please reach out to Prof. Xiaodong Michael Shi at xmshi@umd.edu for more details and to help us plan accordingly.

CAPA 2025 Annual Conference Successfully Held in Zunyi, Guizhou

The CAPA 2025 Annual Conference took place in the vibrant city of Zunyi, Guizhou, from July 22 to July 24, 2025. The event brought together over 100 researchers from across the globe, including the United States, China, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

 

Participants shared cutting-edge research, exchanged innovative ideas, and forged new collaborations in an atmosphere full of energy and inspiration. From thought-provoking presentations to engaging discussions, the conference was a celebration of scientific excellence and international friendship.

 

A heartfelt thank you to all who attended and contributed—this year’s CAPA meeting was truly an outstanding success!

2024 CAPA Winter Symposium

The 2024 CAPA Winter Symposium was successfully held on December 20, 2024 at the TMC3 Building of Texas A&M University Institute of Biotechnology and Technology in Houston, Texas, thanks to our local host Prof. Wenshe Ray Liu.

2023 CAPA Winter Symposium

The 2023 CAPA Summer Symposium was held in August 13 in the UCSF campus, thanks to our local host Prof. Lei Wang. 

CAPA History

The Chinese-American Chemistry & Chemical Biology Professors Association is a non-profit and apolitical organization. CAPA was founded in 2002 by co-founders Zhen Huang, Lin Pu and Binghe Wang. It was officially registered in Georgia, USA on January 14, 2008.
